The amazing actress hits all the right notes in this Netflix Original rom-com. If you want to see Clark and Lois as self-loathing middle-aged parents of teenagers, this is the show for you! Smallville captures how Clark's dual life is set in motion long before he accepts himself as a superhero. Eventually, he moves to Metropolis, and it's the start of all things new. He meets Lois Lane, the love of his life, and interacts with Green Arrow. By this time, he has also made new foes, including Lex Luther and his half-sister Tess Mercer.
Smallville is a coming-of-age series that handles Clark Kent's story in his pre-Superman days quite intelligently and maturely. It's a fairly long series, and one has to accept that not every episode is a jaw-dropper.
There are some silly episodes with unnecessary teenage drama. But for the most part, the series offers fantastic and enjoyable episodes with plot twists. It's fun to watch Clark discover who he really is and what he can do.

He dons a new costume which bears his family crest on the chest.
The ninth season is all about Clark embracing his heritage, and as a result, his relationships with Chloe and Oliver both deteriorate. The villanous Metallo and the crooked Agent Amanda Waller are introduced. Season 10 culminates by catching the story up to the legend of Superman as we know it. The forging of his Superman identity is cemented. With its smart writing and top notch effects work, this episodes remains one of the tightest of the series and also one of the only two-hour episodes in Smallville history.
